Events that made me realize that I was a university student
Hello. I am going to talk about my awakening to university life, which has just started.
First, you need to show your student ID cards. Like many other students, I walk to school from the station or home. On the first day of the semester, as I approached the school gate, everyone suddenly started opening their bags. Everyone was taking out their wallets because we need to show our student ID cards. I didn't know what was happening and thought I was going to have to pay for something.
The next thing I noticed was the number of students. Every time I walk on campus, there are lots of students. I can always run into my friends at least once a day. I felt like I was walking in the city. As well, there are many people who have dyed or styled their hair in interesting ways, and they wear plain clothes instead of school uniforms. This is completely different from high school, and I am happy to have more freedom.
And finally, there is the "farm". The “farm” is a convenience store on campus. I think it's convenient because they sell not only rice balls and snacks, but also ice cream. My favorite at the farm is the warm chocolate churros. These are made at a bakery called "Wimin". They are warm enough to steam the bag. In high school, I had only eaten cold bread, so I was impressed when I ate these churros for the first time. Other breads are also available there.
After I entered university, I realized that it was completely different from high school. I have more freedom and free time, so I want to experience many more things and spend a meaningful time here.

こんにちは。これから始まったばかりの大学生活についてお話しします。
まず学生証についてです。私たちは駅または家などから歩いて通学します。校門の前に近づくと、みんな突然カバンを触りだします。なぜなら学生証を提示するためです。皆さんは財布やカードケースを取り出していました。しかし初日は何をしているのか分からずお金を支払うのかと思いました。
次に生徒の多さについてです。いつキャンパスを歩いても生徒がいます。私は友達に一回は必ず会います。都会を歩いているような気分でした。髪や服が高校とは全く異なっているからです。染めている人や巻いている人が多く、制服ではなく私服を着ています。自由なことが増えて嬉しいです。
そして「ファーム」についてです。ファームとは学内のコンビニのことです。ご飯やおやつは勿論、アイスまで売っていて便利だと思います。
ファームの中で特に好きなのは温かいチョコ味のチュロスです。これは「ウィミン」というパン工房で作られています。袋に水蒸気がつく位に出来立てです。高校生の時は冷たいパンしか食べたことがなかったので、初めて食べた時には感動しました。チュロスだけでなく多くのパンも食べることが出来ます。
私は入学してから高校とは全く異なることを実感しました。自由な時間が増えた分、沢山のことを経験し有意義な時間を過ごしたいです。
